Unlike the vast percentage of pieces I make which are from vintage fabric, this gorgeous gingham linen is a new fabric :)
The belt/tie is crafted from 1971 damask cotton however. Finished around the bottom with some beautiful cotton embroidered flowers.
Rosie wears a size 10 in these pics, however she is a size 8 - just a little indication of what the shorts will look like on yourself if you ordered one size bigger. They still fit, they're just a tad longer and looser and the belt will hold them in place. (please see the other shorts for a normal fit!)
